As John L. Scott brokers, our mission is transactional excellence and client satisfaction. That means we work tirelessly to make your home buying or selling process as efficient, stress-free and lucrative for you as possible.

Meet Sara

I'm Sara Gray, a real estate agent at John L. Scott in NE Portland. I've been in the real estate industry since 2012, bringing with me experience in marketing, photography, and publishing. When working with clients, I see myself as a member of their team, cheering them on and helping them achieve their goals. Think of me as the GPS that guides you to your destination.

My attention to detail is unmatched, and I give each client my undivided attention. I believe that effective marketing is essential. From well-written descriptions and staging to high-end photography, I ensure that every asset of a home is highlighted. I go the extra mile by staging listings and I provide comprehensive information to help buyers make informed decisions. I serve the city of Portland and its westside suburbs (Beaverton, Hillsboro, Tigard, Lake Oswego and Tualatin).

I'm an Earth Advantage Broker and Earth Advantage ADU Specialist which gives me great knowledge into green building practices and features and of course Portland's well-known ADU program. I've earned the Chairman's Elite Award for my sales record at John L. Scott. What I love most about my job is being part of the emotionally-charged decision-making process and witnessing the significant life changes my clients experience. I'm known for staying calm during tough moments, making me a reliable partner when things get stressful. I have a keen eye for potential and can see the beauty in homes that may not appear so at first glance.

If you'd like to learn more about my services, visit my website at saragray.net/clients (https://saragray.net/clients/) . My goal is to provide such exceptional service that my clients become lifelong partners. The vast majority of my clients are repeat clients, which speaks to the level of service I strive to deliver.

Outside of real estate, I'm an avid volunteer, working with international exchange students through AFS to promote peace and cultural understanding. I recently served as the president of my son's co-op preschool, and I support my alma mater, Jesuit High School. My inspiration comes from my family and friends, who motivate me to excel in everything I do and approach life with compassion and helpfulness.

In my free time, I enjoy cooking and host a podcast called Cookbook Club, dedicated to exploring the world of cookbooks. Starting my mornings with a Peloton ride keeps me energized, and I love being a fun mom who builds forts and swims with my two boys, aged 9 and 5.

Portland

It’s true that Portland has a lot of nicknames: The Rose City. Stumptown. Beervana. River City. Bridgetown. PDX. I think it shows the affection Portlanders have for our city. Portland is in one of the most beautiful spots in the country. We enjoy tons of year-round outdoor activities. The Cascade Mountains with their year-round skiing and snowboarding are an hour to the east and the Pacific Ocean is an hour to the west. Willamette Valley Wine Country, which is known for its world-class pinot noirs, is a short drive away. But there are plenty of reasons to stay in the city too. Powell's City of Books is an entire city block of literary fare. Forest Park and Mount Tabor are both perfect for a hike or a picnic and you can’t beat the shopping and dining in the Pearl District or the art scene on Alberta and Mississippi Avenues. Our mild climate--with warm dry summers and cool wet winters--has given rise to the farm-to-table movement in local restaurants. Salmon, pork, and beef all come from local purveyors and they pair with locally grown produce and international flavors to make Portland a foodie's dream city. Portland has one of the lowest crime rates of a major American cities and the cost of living is low compared to other West Coast cities. Homes range from historic mansions in the West Hills and restored bungalows in inner Southeast to highrise condos in the Pearl and downtown and new construction and other up and coming neighborhoods. If you’d like to learn more about Portland let us know. We’d love to show you around and help you find your perfect home.
